About Alpine Device Repair

Alpine Device Repair is a one-person repair shop in Leavenworth, Washington — computers, WiFi, TVs, and electronics fixed by someone who lives here and puts his name on the work.

About Alpine Device Repair

A small repair shop in Leavenworth, run by one person who lives here.

When something with a plug or a battery quits working, you should be able to call someone close by who will actually show up, tell you straight what's wrong, and fix it — no drive over the mountains, no two-week wait for a callback.

That's the whole idea here. Most of the work is electronics: a laptop that won't start, a TV with no picture, WiFi that dies in the back bedroom, a game console, a generator, an old stereo. The thread running through all of it is fixing the part that's actually broken instead of telling you to throw the whole thing away.

At the workbench

Meet Loren

Behind the bench is Loren, who's lived in Leavenworth for years and spent decades taking electronics apart and putting them back together. Before this he ran a software company, so a slow computer or a home network that won't behave is as familiar to him as a soldering iron.

When you book a visit, that's who shows up — not a call center, not a rotating crew. One person who lives here and puts his name on the work.

How we work

Nothing fancy. The first visit has a fee — $95 ($135 outlying) for the first half hour of an in-person visit, $50 for a drop-off — that covers the trip and the diagnosis. You know it up front, it's the same whether the fix turns out easy, hard, or not worth doing, and it counts toward the repair if you go ahead. Once we know what's wrong, you get a clear price to fix it before that work starts, then photos of what got done when it's finished. If it's not worth fixing, we'll tell you straight. See real jobs in the Repair Portfolio, and the numbers on the Pricing page.

Based in Leavenworth, and out to Peshastin, Dryden, Plain, Lake Wenatchee, Cashmere, Wenatchee, and Chelan. Stereo and amp restoration comes in by mail from anywhere.
